Rescue contracts with Waste Energy sites across South East

Rescue 2 have been contracted to provide rolling 3 man teams to provide a Technical Confined Space and Rope Rescue provision, for two major Waste and Energy plants in the South East.

The Energy Recovery facilities need to undertake annual maintenance of their big furnaces. (A single boiler processes approx. 100,000 tonnes of non recyclable waste each year which generates 7 Mega watt of electricity suppling 8,000 local homes).

During the maintenance period, Rescue 2 not only provide a Rescue provision but also control access and egress for all contractors entering the risk area as well as monitoring contractors entering confined spaces. Our Rope Rescue experience is key on these sites, as most of the rescue plans involve rope rescue to implement any safe means of rescue from the complex confined spaces.

Both contracts are scheduled to last for 14 days, starting in June, and July at the two separate locations. We will be running 24 hr 3 man shifts for both.
