A Hands-On Approach to Confined Space Safety Management

Before a single contractor enters a risk area, our technical lead team has already developed site-specific RAMS covering every foreseeable scenario. On site, we operate from our own dedicated control unit, which serves as the central hub for all contractor and customer movement. Every person entering a risk area comes through us, we issue RPE, record access via our tag-based control system, and maintain real-time visibility of all personnel throughout the shift.

Our teams carry out pre-entry gas monitoring checks, bump-test equipment, and establish and test communications before the workforce enters. Where required, we conduct background gas level monitoring on behalf of the customer throughout the working day. We also deliver site-specific safety briefings and toolbox talks covering near-miss learnings, hazard awareness, and practical rescue and first aid demonstrations, keeping contractors informed and engaged with safety throughout the project.

Effective confined space contractor safety management does not stop at the briefing. Our teams remain actively present throughout, monitoring contractor behaviour against agreed working practices, responding to changing site conditions, and adapting the safe system of work when required. All of this is delivered in full compliance with the Confined Spaces Regulations 1997.

Praised for excellence

We go above and beyond

We are consistently praised by customers for going above and beyond in contractor access coordination, on-site safety management, and practical confined space guidance. Our teams are drawn from frontline emergency services and include Rescue Specialists who bring real-world experience to every project – not just technical knowledge, but the practical judgement that comes from years of operating in high-pressure environments. That experience is applied continuously on site, not held in reserve.
