Vacancies for Associate Rescue Team Members and Team Leaders – South East

Rescue 2 need additional self employed Qualified Rescue Team Members, who are based in the South East and London areas.

Rescue 2 Limited provides the highest quality service available to all of our customers. To consistently maintain this top level of service, we will only recruit individuals that have an already proven track record in the appropriate occupational environments, or are prepared to work towards advancement of their experience and qualifications. Therefore Rescue 2 has to satisfy strict defined criteria.

Required Qualifications/Experience

In order to qualify as a Team Member/Team Leader the candidate will need to obtain the following nationally recognised qualifications as minimum standard. Candidates should provide evidence of experience and competence within an occupational emergency service role. All team members should make available to Rescue 2 their occupational training history.  For example, a CV along with personal training records and any certification copies.

Team Members should show evidence of training in the following areas as a minimum standard

  •    First Aid at Work
  •    Automated External Defibrillation
  •    Oxygen/Entonox Administration
  •    Breathing Apparatus wearer
  •    CSCS Card

Team Leaders should show evidence of training in the following areas including the above,

  •    IOSH Managing Safely or NEBOSH National General Certificate
  •    Incident Commander Course
  •    Management or Supervisory Courses

Confined Space Qualifications

All team members will be expected to show evidence of appropriate competence with confined space working, including Rescuing Casualties from confined spaces.

It is requested that all team members are City and Guilds trained in Working in Confined Space High Risk 6150 - 03 and Rescuing Casualties from Confined Spaces 6150 - 05.  We can assist with development if needed.

Rescue 2 are extremely keen to hear from candidates with the following competencies,

  •    First Person on Scene, Emergency Medical Technician or higher
  •    Rope Rescue Technician
  •    Rope Rescue Supervisor
  •    IRATA level 1 +
  •    Eye bolt installer and tester
  •    Water Safety
  •    Working at Height
  •    Atmospheric Monitoring

Progression within the company onto the above courses is available.

Work would be on a self employed basis, and can fit in with your existing shift patterns if necessary.
