Yes. Delegates must hold a valid First Aid at Work certificate to attend this refresher course, as it is designed to update and reinforce existing knowledge and skills.
The course revisits core first aid skills, including CPR, use of an AED, and the treatment of a range of injuries and medical conditions. It also reinforces emergency response procedures and current best practice.
If your First Aid at Work certificate has expired, you may be required to complete the full three-day course again rather than the refresher. It is recommended to requalify before expiry to avoid this.
The requalification is valid for a further three years. Ongoing training is recommended to maintain competence and confidence in emergency situations.
Training can be delivered at Rescue2’s Poling, West Sussex facility or on-site at your premises nationwide, depending on your operational needs.
