The Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) course is a one day first aid qualification that covers a range of CPR and emergency first aid skills. Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) provides delegates with the skills to reduce the risks and dangers in the workplace.

This course is aimed at anyone who wishes to take on the role of a nominated first aider in the workplace and gives the delegate the necessary skills and information to deal with a variety of emergency situations. The course is designed to give delegates the necessary competence and confidence to deal with a range of illnesses and injuries in the workplace.

No. The course is suitable for beginners and is designed to build confidence in dealing with emergency situations from the outset.
Training includes CPR, managing unconscious casualties, treating wounds and bleeding, and recognising a range of medical conditions that may occur in the workplace.
Certification is valid for three years. It is good practice to complete refresher training to maintain safe and effective response skills.
This course provides a foundation in emergency first aid over one day. The full First Aid at Work course is more in-depth and suited to higher risk workplaces.
