The First Aid at Work (FAW) course is the most comprehensive first aid training for the workplace. It covers various CPR and first aid skills and equips first aiders with the knowledge to apply first aid to specific injuries and illnesses.

This comprehensive 3 day first aid at work course is for people intending to act as a First Aider at Work. The course is designed to provide the First Aider with the skills necessary to give effective life support including instruction on the safe use of AED, diagnose and treat injuries and illness and maintain care and comfort of the casualty. With an emphasis on dealing with life threatening situations and keeping the casualty alive until professional help arrives.
Delegates will have a greater understanding of the theoretical and practical application of first aid techniques in the workplace to a suitable standard.

This course is designed for individuals required to act as a First Aider in the workplace. It is suitable across all industries where a designated person is needed to respond to incidents and provide immediate care.
No prior experience is required. The course provides the knowledge and practical skills needed to respond safely and effectively to workplace emergencies.
Delegates will be able to assess emergency situations, perform CPR, use an AED, and provide first aid for a range of injuries and illnesses, including unconscious casualties, bleeding, fractures, burns, seizures and anaphylaxis.
The qualification is valid for three years. Refresher training is recommended before expiry to maintain competence and confidence.
Training can be delivered at Rescue2’s facility in Poling, West Sussex, or on-site at your premises nationwide, depending on your requirements.
