As well as the head office team listed below – we have a team of over 50 specialists with experience in technical rescue, confined spaces, rope rescue – as well as a team of paramedics and firemen. I am very fortunate to have had the opportunity to work with so many dedicated and professional colleagues and friends with both the Fire and Rescue Service and Rescue 2. When I am not working, I enjoy spending valuable time with my family, Titch (the cat who thinks he is a dog) and our gorgeous Australian Labradoodles, Angus and Girty.

Bio to follow…

I’m really enjoying the buzz of working for a fast growing family business.
My background includes many years working for a big corporate company that involved me working across many departments co-ordinating new product development for launch to the global markets.
I am married to Richard with 2 grown up children. In my spare time I enjoy the great outdoors, touring the countryside with my caravan. I enjoy cycling, walking and various keep fit classes. I have completed the British Heart Foundation London to Brighton bike ride and a 10k brutal Mud Run.

My role is to assist the Operations Manager with planning and coordinating confined space entry and rescue cover operations, and liaising with our team of Rescue specialists and clients. I am also tasked with maintaining and developing the vehicle fleet and general Rescue2 equipment.
Prior to joining Rescue 2, I spent 15 years within the British Army where I was lucky enough to travel the world and train in a variety of roles – from communications specialist to helicopter handler, which involved providing specialist underslung load support and landing site management for helicopters across the Armed Forces.
In my spare time I enjoy relaxing with my wife Hanna and my children Arthur and Molly. I am a keen mountain biker and also enjoy trial running – mainly across the South Downs.
I first became involved in working for Alpha Training and Rescue2 after leaving university, I wanted to take a year off to decide which career direction I wanted to go in and I’ve been with the company ever since!
I really enjoy working for Rescue2, especially interacting with our clients, and receiving great feedback about our work. Rescue2 HQ is a real buzz – always something exciting going on!
In my spare time I like to relax at home with my husband Mike, our young daughter and our two cats. I love all thing’s outdoors and I enjoy mountain biking and going to the gym. As a company some of us recently cycled 75 miles off road from London to Brighton for the British Heart Foundation. It really was an amazing experience and we hope to do something similar again soon.
My responsibilities include running the financial aspects of the business, banking and cash flow, looking after any legal matters including premises, vehicle administration and purchasing.
I joined when Rescue 2 Ltd was launched in May 2012 and have seen the company continue to grow. I have learnt that Health and Safety of people is a key milestone for all serious companies and I am proud to be involved in Alpha and Rescue 2 in helping businesses to achieve their goals.
Prior to Rescue2, I worked for a major bank, the last 16 years as ‘an old fashioned’ Bank Manager and some years before the crash I up skilled myself for my new career in company finance, an area I have been involved ever since
I am married with two independent boys (men) one runs the family business which we have owned for 12 years now.
My wife and I live down on the Sussex coast having spent 12 months completely refurbishing our new home. In my time away from the business I am a keen touring cyclist, winter is taken up playing league badminton and playing my tenor saxophone. I have a keen interest in most forms of sport, playing and watching. Love travelling.
My name is Guy and I joined Alpha Training and Rescue 2 as a Financial Controller in August 2016.
I have spent most of my professional career in finance and worked for HSBC for 10 years before joining Alpha. I see myself as enthusiastic, reliable and very focused. I have been working passionately in the Finance Industry for the last thirteen years.
In my current position I have created long term strategy plans and critical pathways to ensure that key deadlines are met. I also have many years of experience negotiating insurance (Credit Limits) products with a wide range of Corporate Clients and Customers. I am a passionate agent for change and that is also why I have joined this business.
I’m a very outgoing person. I enjoy a few drinks with my friends and love to watch/play football/basketball. I often go out in the sea on my kayak when the temperature is reasonable. French is my first language and I have used it as an added skill in my previous jobs. I’m a family man, and I love to spend time with my two sons and my daughter.

I’m an experienced graphic designer and art director, and have run my own design agency for over 15 years. I balance my time working on my own business, and working part time in-house at Rescue2 for the rest of the week.
I’ve been involved with the design and marketing for Rescue2 for many years now, and it has been hugely satisfying to see them grow and expand into the vibrant and exciting company that they are today.
Personally, I am married to Helen, and between us we have 4 boys – so spare time is rare! I love the outdoors, walking, and spend as much time as possible on our local beach at Shoreham by Sea. I trained in Taekwondo for many years, and also played Rugby for Worthing. I also enjoy all racquet sports, love live music, and sing in the Brighton Rock Choir.
My main role is to assist the Rescue 2 Equipment and Logistics Manager, with the maintainance and servicing of the huge array of equipment, ensuring the Rescue 2 team and the trainers have correct and suitable equipment for each job.
Working at Alpha Training and Rescue 2, came out of nowhere really but as soon as I heard about the opportunity I knew it would be something I would really enjoy doing.
Dealing with all the various equipment that the company uses I find endlessly interesting and I can’t wait to expand my knowledge in all areas of the companies ever evolving needs, learn some new skills on the way and hopefully help some people in the process, but with the great team of people they have here I’m sure there will be no end as to what they can teach me.
While I’m not working I enjoy being outside, working out, heading down to Cornwall to go surfing (one day I will move there) and taking part in various and obscure extreme sports, however an evening in playing video games or binge watching Game of Thrones is never a bad option in my book.
Hi, my name is Neal. I joined Rescue 2 in 2016 as Equipment lead – to take control and maintain the vast array of technical safety equipment, used by the rescue teams, and also by our training company, Alpha Training. I also deal with logistics – making sure the right equipment and vehicles are in the right place at the right time.
I spent six years working in the emergency services as a firefighter, and prior to that spent some considerable time in the vehicle repair industry. This past experience combines well in my position at Rescue 2.
In my spare time I enjoy the outdoors – getting away with my partner in our campervan, and take part in many outdoor pursuits. These include mountaineering, rock climbing, kayaking, cycling – and my main passion, scuba diving.
