Rescue 2 Power Station contracts

Rescue 2 are now regularly being asked to provide rescue specialists for new industries, including Power Stations and the Energy market. Our contract work is growing all the time.

Power Station Shutdown

Rescue 2 were recently contracted to provide Rescue and Medical support to a team of over 400 contractors, working on essential maintenance works for a large power station shutdown in the South West of England.
The four man team worked onsite for 14 hour shifts, for a period of two months, and consisted of three Rescue specialists, a Paramedic, a Rescue Response vehicle, and a fully functional Ambulance - for deployment as necessary.
The team were kept busy providing treatments for industrial injuries and emergencies, plus provided an onsite clinic for everyday ailments.

A medical emergency took place one day, and a life was saved.  Within 2 minutes Rescue2 were on the scene assessing the patient, and quickly diagnosed a major cerebral event.  Our NHS colleagues arrived within 10 minutes; we assisted them in loading the patient, completing an ECG and Intravenous Access and completing all the essential patient details which we had already gathered.

Due to the success of the previous contract, Rescue 2 will be returning to the same site for further works in September.  Not only will we be providing a full Medical and Technical Rescue provision, but also a Fire plan - with an experienced fully crewed front line Fire Appliance.

We're delighted that our client has now offered Rescue 2 a two year contract to provide planned and reactive safety and rescue cover for their sites - which will include an onsite Medical Centre, Paramedic, Technical Rescue Team, a Firefighting provision and Chemical initial response.

Rescue 2 is building a solid reputation, and our contracts are now snowballing.
Our holistic approach, and our ability to provide a full Rescue team that includes, Medical, Technical Rescue and Fire cover from all under one roof, has proven extremely popular.
